Behind the Scenes

Why do I love my job so much? It shows in these "behind the scenes" photos captured by my dear friend and photographer extraordinaire, Mindy Butler at Careen and Bill's February 2012 wedding!
Look for all of the details and the complete dream team of vendors here.
Here we are going over the last details while Careen is in the "hair chair"...

2012 Vendor MVPs- Espresso Dave's Specialty Coffee Catering

We had the great pleasure of working with Espresso Dave's Specialty Coffee Catering at several events this year.  We've been working together for over 5 years and Espresso Dave's services are always a hit with our clients and their guests.
Our friend, "Espresso Dave" Salzman and his team are great fun to work with!
A cup of happiness and a perfect place to showcase your new monogram.
Iced mochaccinos are a fun late night snack at Summer weddings!
We also love offering them at post-wedding Brunch.
Who wouldn't enjoy a hot cappuccino with biscotti to warm up a winter wedding?
Also a special offering "for the road" or the shuttle ride back to the hotel.
We are always so happy to have Espresso Dave's as part of our team!
Thanks for a great 2012 season!

Blissful Events: Jill and Craig's York Harbor Reading Room Wedding

Jill and Craig were married on a perfect late spring Saturday in Southern Maine.  I really enjoyed Jill's relaxed planning style and her crisp clean aesthetic for the wedding decor.
All of these lovely photos are courtesy of the wonderfully talented Brea MacDonald!
Beautiful Bride!

Post ceremony squeeze!
There is no shortage of photo opportunity at the Reading Room!
Hand written escort cards sat on a bed of white and sea blue-green beach glass
We used soft lace embroidered linens and crisp white napkins on the tables so as not to compete with Reading Room's incomparable views from the dining room.

Jordan Almonds- a nod to the Bride's Italian heritage
I love how a touch of  blue thistle makes a garden arrangement feel a touch beachy.
Wild Orchid Baking Company recreated the delicate flower accent of the Bride's gown to embellish the wedding cake
Best guestbook ever!  Guests left notes by their favorite poem
DJ Terry from Crown Entertainment kept the dance floor full all night

Twilight at the Reading Room. Spectacular.

Thanks also to Espresso Dave's Specialty Coffee Catering, Wonderful Weddings Jazz Trio and Marshall Rental for being a part of this great team of wedding vendors.
